Milwaukee woman struck by vehicle near 10th and Lincoln, seriously injured

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Police are investigating a reckless endangering safety incident that left a 24-year-old Milwaukee woman seriously injured Wednesday, June 15. 

Authorities say around 1:45 a.m., a suspect struck the victim with his vehicle while trying to flee the area of 10th and Lincoln during an argument between several people.

A vehicle driven by a second suspect chased suspect one in his vehicle until the vehicle crashed into a parked car. Police say suspect one then fled on foot and was intentionally struck by suspect two's vehicle. 

The 24-year-old victim was transported to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries. 

The suspect, a 28-year-old Milwaukee man, was arrested and taken to an area hospital for treatment of serious injuries. 

Criminal charges will be referred to the Milwaukee County DA's Office. 

Milwaukee police continue to seek additional suspects.
