Woman succumbs to injuries in shooting near 74th and Capitol

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Police report the 54-year-old woman shot near 74th and Capitol early Tuesday, Dec. 8, has died from her injuries.

This shooting remains under investigation. Anyone with information should contact police.

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A Milwaukee woman is being treated for critical injuries following an overnight shooting.

According to Milwaukee Police, a 54-year-old woman was shot near N. 74th St. and W. Capitol Dr. around 1:45 a.m. on Tuesday, December 8.

The victim was taken to a local hospital and treated for her injuries.

The shooting occurred during circumstances that are still under investigation.
