MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A little rain didn't stop a group of seniors from singing a patriotic tune while stuck inside.
Residents of Village Manor Healthcare and Community Living in Milwaukee were on their balconies waving American flags and singing songs Wednesday afternoon.
Organizers of the patriotic display say it's an effort to stay strong during these hard times.
Ninety-three-year-old Marjorie Heinrich has a message for anyone struggling with self-isolation.
"I know it's hard, it's hard to stay cooped up...we all have to do whatever we have to do to get it better and get us right again," she said.
Marjorie, who goes by Marge, says she's getting ready to celebrate her 94th birthday on Flag Day.
She says she's hoping the world can come together and defeat the virus.
