Milwaukee Public Market makes Packers-Seahawks wager with Seattle's Pike Place Market
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A friendly wager has ensued between the Milwaukee Public Market and Seattle's Pike Place Market.over the Packers Seahawks slated for a playoff matchup Sunday, Jan. 12.
In support of their local football teams, gift baskets featuring goods from vendors at each market, will be sent to the market whose team wins the game from the losing market/team.
According to a news release, the Milwaukee Public Market made a similar bet in 2011 during the Packers Super Bowl game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Packers took home the Vince Lombardi Trophy with the 31-25 win over the Steelers.
