Milwaukee Police to Hold Open Houses to Fill Vacant 911 Operator Jobs

The Milwaukee Police Department will be hosting two open houses in the coming days as the Department seeks to fill more than 30 vacant positions for Emergency Communications Operators II’s.

ECO II’s assist in the operation of MPD’s Computer Aided Dispatch System and Enhanced 9-1-1 system. Details on the job and an application can be found here.

The starting salary is $46,347 for City of Milwaukee residents and $45,210 for non-residents.

The first Open House will be held on Saturday, August 13th from 12-4 p.m. and the second will be held on Tuesday, August 23rd from 4-8 p.m. at the Emergency Operations Center located on the 3rd floor of MPD District Three (2333 N. 49th Street).  This job opportunity will allow citizens to be involved in serving the community, especially when citizens are in distress.
