MPD seeks suspects involved in shootings that injured victims ages 15, 50

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee police are investigating two shootings that occurred on Wednesday, June 17.

Authorities say a 15-year-old boy was shot around 4:20 a.m. near 1st and Burleigh when a suspect was handling a gun that discharged and struck the victim.

The victim was taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Around 12:05 p.m., a 50-year-old man was shot near 16th and Lincoln in what police say appears to be the result of a robbery.

The victim sustained non-life threatening injuries and was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
