MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee police are requesting the public's assistance in identifying and locating a suspect wanted in an armed robbery that took place on Jan. 3.

Police say the suspect entered a restaurant near 60th and Capitol, implied he had a gun and obtained money from the register before fleeing on foot.

The suspect is described as an African American male, 17-23 years of age, 6' tall, with a medium build and a short afro. 

He was last seen wearing a black/gray-hooded Puma sweatshirt, faded/ripped blue jeans and black shoes with red laces.
