MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee police are asking for the public's assistance in locating a critically missing teen.

Officials say 13-year-old Jamyla Norwood was last in contact with her family Monday afternoon, July 28. She was last believed to be in the area of 24th and Burleigh. 

Jamyla is described as a Black female, 5'3", 120 pounds. 

She was last seen wearing a pink bonnet, black T-shirt, blue jean pants, and yellow and black shoes. 

Police say Jamyla does not have any money or any means of transportation. She should be traveling on foot.
