MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee Police Department is asking the public for help in identifying an armed robbery suspect.
It happened 11:34 p.m. on February 23 at Munchies Frozen Custard, located at 8333 W. Appleton Avenue.
According to police, a delivery driver was given two separate orders. He walked out to his car, placed the deliveries on the rear driver's side seat, and closed the door. As he was doing this, the suspect allegedly ran up to the victim, put a firearm to his waist, and demanded money.
The victim then put up his hands and the suspect allegedly reached into his front pocket and removed $500.
According to police, the suspect then pointed the firearm at other Munchies Frozen Custard employees before fleeing the scene.
The suspect is described as a black, male, 17-19 years of age, 5’6 to 5’7, 140-150 lbs, with dark complexion. He was last seen wearing a black facial mask (covering nose and mouth), black hooded sweatshirt and black pants. He was armed with silver/black firearm.
Anyone with information is asked to call Milwaukee Police.
