Milwaukee police searching for armed robbery suspect

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee police are seeking the public's assistance in locating a suspect wanted for an armed robbery on Saturday.

It happened near N. Richards and E. Abert Place around 12:15 p.m.

Police say the suspect produced a black/gray handgun and demanded money, before taking the cash and merchandise and fleeing the store.

The suspect is identified as a black male, 30 to 35 years of age, standing 5'10" tall and weighing about 225 pounds with facial hair. He was last seen wearing a blue baseball cap with a Charlotte Hornet's basketball team logo. He was also wearing a white tank top, black shorts underneath faded blue jeans, and sandals.
