Milwaukee Police respond to nine different shootings this weekend

Milwaukee Police sent out a list of shootings that occurred this weekend and two of the shootings involved children. 

According to Milwaukee Police, this is the last of shootings from this weekend:

A 26-year-old Milwaukee man was shot in the 2500 block of S. 13th Street. The shooting occurred around 3:40 a.m. on Saturday and the circumstances in the shooting are unclear at this time. The victim was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries. Police continue to seek a motive and search for a suspect.

Two victims were injured after a fight broke out and shots were fired in the 5000 block of N. 22nd Street. The shooting occurred around 12:25 p.m on Saturday. The two victims, a 30-year-old man, and a 38-year-old man were transported to a local hospital for treatment of their injuries. Both men were arrested for Recklessly Endangering Safety and Felon in Possession of a Firearm. Police are seeking a third suspect from this incident.

A 37-year-old man was shot and killed in the 1900 block of N. 29th Street around 1:40 p.m. on Saturday. The victim was involved in an argument with a known male suspect before he was shot. The victim was taken to a local hospital where he later died. Police are currently looking for the known male suspect.

A shooting in the 3400 block of N. 67th Street left a 7-year-old girl and a 27-year-old female injured. The shooting occurred around 3:10 p.m. on Saturday. Police say their investigation shows that the 27-year-old female got into an argument with a known male suspect leading to the suspect discharging a firearm. The gunfire injured both the 27-year-old female and the 7-year-old girl. Both victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries. Police are currently looking for the known male suspect.

A shooting in the 2900 block of N. 17th Street left a 29-year-old woman injured. The shooting occurred around 8:20 p.m. on Saturday. The woman got into an argument with a 33-year-old woman and was shot. The victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The suspect was taken into custody. Police continue to investigate this incident.

Two people, including an 8-year-old boy, were injured after shots were fired after a fight broke out in the 6200 block of W. Kaul Avenue. The shooting occurred around 8:40 p.m. on Saturday. The 8-year-old boy and a 27-year-old man were taken to local hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries. Police continue to look for suspects in this incident.

A shooting in the 2400 block of N. Buffum Street left a 30-year-old man injured. The shooting occurred around 10 p.m. on Saturday. Milwaukee Police say the victim was shot by a suspect in a passing vehicle. Police continue to seek a motive and search for suspects in this incident.

A 29-year-old man was shot and killed in the 3000 block of N. 54th Street. The shooting occurred around 10:45 p.m. and the circumstances are still unclear in the shooting. The victim was taken to a local hospital but died from his injuries. 

A 25-year-old man was injured after shots were fired during a bright with multiple suspects in the 1900 block of S. 35th Street. The shooting occurred around 2:30 a.m. on Sunday. The victim was taken to a local hospital with injuries believed to be non-life-threatening. Police are still searching for suspects.non-life-treatening. Police are still searching for suspects.
