Milwaukee Police Officers Injured trying to Control 13-Year-Old with BB Gun

Two Milwaukee Police officers were injured trying to control a 13-year-old that brought a bb gun to school on Thursday.

Milwaukee Police are investigating an incident that happened on Wednesday, September 14th, around 2:30 p.m. at Franklin School located 2308 W. Nash Street.

According to police, officers were called to the school regarding a 13-year old male student who had brought a soft shot, plastic bb gun to school.  As the officers spoke with the student, he became physically combative with the officers.  The student was taken into custody after resisting the officers attempt to control him.

The officers, both 46-years old, one male and one female suffered non-life threatening injuries during the incident, and are at a local hospital receiving treatment.  The case will be presented to the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s office in the coming days.
