MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A 4-year-old Milwaukee boy reported missing overnight has been found safe, and police say a 12-year-old has been arrested. We spoke to a family member Wednesday.
Police alerted the public overnight that the 4-year-old boy was missing, last seen near 5th and Hadley.
They believed he was with his 12-year-old sister. Police said the girl was wanted and may be armed.
We spoke with a relative who says this is all due to a custody dispute.
"She came to the house last night," the relative said. "Everybody was sleeping. She pulled out a gun, and she got the boy. He had no shoes or jacket."
Allegedly, the boy no longer lives with his mother and was taken from a guardian's home.
