Milwaukee Police: Man in critical condition after being struck by a vehicle near 27th and Edgerton

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee Police are investigating a car vs pedestrian accident.

It happened around 8:45 p.m. Monday in the 5000 block of S. 27th Street.

The pedestrian, who has not been identified yet, was crossing the street when he was struck by a vehicle that was traveling northbound on S. 27th Street.

The pedestrian is being treated at a local hospital and is in critical condition.

The driver, a 43-year-old man, remained on scene and is cooperating with the investigation.

Police continue to investigate.
