MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Michelle Mosely was attacked when she went out for a walk Monday evening. Her family said she was only gone for about 15 minutes when she was attacked.

"I just couldn't imagine this happening because she loves dogs," said Lenora Lockard, cousin.

Lockhard was home when all of sudden she Michelle was trying to get in the back door.

"I said what happened. I saw blood on her leg and she said she just got mauled by three rottweilers," said Lockhard.

Lockhard called 911 and Mosely was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

One dog was taken to the Milwaukee Area Domestic Animal Control Commission where it is being held in quarantine.

Lockhard said it's alarming something like this could have happened because there are many young children who live on the block.

"If you have vicious animals please, please keep them chained and watch them," said Lockhard.

Mosely will be going in for her second surgery on Wednesday. Doctors estimate she can be in the hospital until Friday.
