Milwaukee Police looking for three burglary suspects that pretended to be members of water company
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee Police are looking to identify three suspects for burglary of a home near 89th and Townsend around 11 a.m. on January 8.
Three suspects went to a home in the neighborhood pretending to be members of the water company. The suspects asked to enter the victims’ basement to look at the water system and were allowed in. One suspect stayed in the living room while a second suspect went to the basement and a third suspect went into the bedroom and stole jewelry and a large amount of money.
The suspects left the scene in a newer white 4-door sedan similar to a station wagon with lightly tinted windows.
The first suspect is described as a black man about 5'8" wearing a gray sweater and jeans. The second suspect is described as a white man in his late 60s with medium build wearing a light blue jacket and jeans. The third suspect was described as a white man around 65-years-old with blue eyes and slicked back black hair and was last seen wearing blue slacks and a black jacket.
The burglary is similar to one that happened near 30th and Lincoln on January 21.
