Milwaukee police investigating fatal downtown crash

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee police are investigating a fatal crash early Friday morning.
A vehicle traveling southbound on N. Milwaukee St. collided with a guard rail near W. Water St. around 12:19 a.m.
The 40-year-old female passenger died from her injuries on scene. The 48-year-old female driver was taken into custody relating to the incident.
Charges are pending review by the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office.
