Update: Several injured following crash between school bus, car

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Several people were injured during a crash involving in a school bus and a car.

It happened around 7 p.m. near 60th and Melvina.

According to police, the school bus was occupied by 10 children and several of them were taken to a local hospital for treatment of minor injuries.

The second vehicle involved in the accident remained on scene.

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Police are investigating an accident between a school bus and car Friday, Nov. 8.

The accident happened around 6:55 p.m. near 60th and Melvina.

According to MPD, two children were taken to Children's Wisconsin. The driver of the car was taken to Froedtert.

All of the injuries are believed to be minor.
