MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A car smashed into a home on Milwaukee's north side Tuesday evening.
It happened around 8 p.m. near 45th and Auer.
The tow trucks and police cars have left the scene but a large hole still remains in the side of the house.
Witnesses say a car going 70 mph hit another car and then smashed into the home, trapping the homeowner in the basement.
The witnesses say the car wasn't stolen, just driving recklessly.
There were no serious injuries reported.
A woman in the car that was hit was taken to the hospital and she says while she's able to move, the pain has been getting worse.
