Milwaukee police investigate two Saturday afternoon shootings

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee Police Department announced they are currently carrying out investigations for two separate shootings that occurred early Saturday afternoon, May 8.

Milwaukee police are investigating a shooting that occurred on Saturday, May 8, 2021, at approximately 1:00pm, in the 2000 block of W. Greenfield Avenue.

The victim, a 25 year-old female from Milwaukee sustained non-life threatening injuries, during an apparent robbery.

She was transported to a local hospital for medical treatment.

Milwaukee Police do not have anyone in custody for this incident and continue to seek unknown suspects.

Authorities are also investigating a second shooting that occurred on Saturday, May 8, 2021, at approximately 1:15pm, in the 3200 block of N. 25th Street.

During the shooting, the victim, a 38 year-old man from Milwaukee sustained non-life threatening injuries.

The victim was transported to a local hospital for medical treatment.

Milwaukee Police do not have anyone in custody for this incident and continue to seek an unknown suspect at this time.
