Milwaukee Police investigate two Friday afternoon shootings

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee Police are currently investigating two separate shootings that left two victims injured on Friday afternoon.

The first shooting happened around 2:30 p.m. near 6th and Arthur.

Police say a 25-year-old man was shot and taken to a local hospital for treatment of what is believed to be a non-life threatening injury.

Police were then called to another shooting around 4:30 p.m. near 51st and Congress.

The victim was shot and showed up at a local hospital where they are currently being treated for what is believed to be a non-life threatening injury. Police say the victim is being uncooperative at this time.

There are no suspects in custody for either shooting.

Milwaukee Police continue to investigate.
