Milwaukee police investigate four separate shootings in six hours, 2 dead

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office says victim shot near 37th and Marion has been identified as a 15-year-old boy.

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) --- The Milwaukee Police Department is investigating four separate shootings that left two dead within six hours Sunday, May 2.

92nd and Sheridan

Police say an 18-year-old girl was fatally shot near 92nd and Sheridan at 4:54 a.m. on Sunday.

The circumstances leading up to the shooting are under investigation.

37th and Marion

Police say a 15-year-old boy was also fatally shot near 37th and Marion at 5:20 a.m. on Sunday.

The circumstances leading up to the shooting are under investigation.

96th and Beatrice

Officials say a 21-year-old Milwaukee man sustained non-life threatening injuries on Sunday at 9:13 a.m. after being shot near 96th and Beatrice.

The shooting is the result of an argument. 

The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

13th and Burleigh 

Police say a 41-year-old woman was shot near 13th and Burleigh at 10:50 a.m. on Sunday.

She suffered non-life threatening injuries and arrived at a hospital for treatment.

The circumstances leading up to the shooting are under investigation.
