Milwaukee Police Investigate Infant Death

Milwaukee police and the Milwaukee Medical Examiner are investigating the late night death of a 2-month-old baby girl.
According to police, the death was reported around 11:45 p.m. Tuesday in the area of N 35th Street and W Hampton Avenue.
The Milwaukee Fire Department responded to the scene and performed lifesaving efforts, but they were unsuccessful. According to the Medical Examiner’s office, the cause of the death is undetermined, but co-sleeping is not a factor. An autopsy will be conducted Wednesday morning.
