Milwaukee Police investigate after 5 people are shot at a vigil

Police said that they responded to a call of a quintuple shooting that happened in the 3100 block of N. 29th Street around 6:00 pm. 

They said the victims were attending a vigil when the shooting occurred. 

The first victim, a 56-year-old woman, sustained a  minor injury. 

The second victim, a 52-year-old woman, sustained non-life threatening injuries.

The third victim, a 23-year-old woman, sustained a minor injury.

The forth victim, a 22-year-old man, sustained a serious injury.

And the fifth victim,  a 20-year-old man, sustained a non-life threatening injury. 

All of the victims have been transported to area hospitals for treatment. 

Police also said the motive for the shootings is unknown and there are no suspects in custody at this time. 

The shootings are still under investigation.
