Milwaukee police investigate 3 separate overnight shootings

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee police are investigating three separate shootings that took place between the evening of Sat., April 30 and daybreak on Sun., May 1. 

Around 7:20 p.m. on Sat., April 30, near 68th and Lisbon a 37-year-old Milwaukee man sustained serious injuries from a gunshot wound while driving a vehicle and then crashing. The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment. The investigation into the circumstances is still ongoing. 

Later in the evening at approximately 9:50 p.m., near 14th and Atkinson Ave., a 21-year-old Milwaukee woman sustained serious injuries after being battered and was then shot by a person known to her. The victim was transported to a local hospital and we are told she is in stable condition.

Shortly after midnight on Sun., May 1, a 30-year-old Milwaukee woman sustained serious injuries after being shot inside of a residence near North and Vel Phillips Avenues. She was taken to a local hospital and officials are saying she is in stable condition.
