Milwaukee Police Identify N. 57th Street Homicide Victim

Milwaukee Police identified the victim of the N. 57th Street homicide on Thursday.

The victim in the January 11 homicide in the 2800 block of N. 57th Street is identified as Kyle T. Weary. 

MPD’s investigation is ongoing and we continue to seek a suspect.

The Milwaukee Police Department is investigating a fatal shooting that occurred at approximately 6:30PM in the 2800 block of N. 57th St.

Circumstances that led to the shooting are still being investigated at this time. The Milwaukee Fire Department responded to a subject down at the above location. Upon arrival they located a 20-year-old male who had been shot and was unresponsive.

The Milwaukee fire department performed life saving measures, but were unable to revive the victim. He died on the scene.
