Milwaukee Police Department retires patrol horse Beth

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58)-- After more than 15 years as a patrol horse, the Milwaukee Police Department Mounted Patrol Foundation announced patrol horse Beth is retiring.

"Beth was the most calm horse of the heard and will be greatly missed by all! Her most recent partner has been Officer Latawiec," said The Mounted Patrol Foundation in a post on Tuesday, June 8. "Beth will be joining a retired MPD Lieutenant and Sergeant in much greener pastures! We wish Beth all the best clover and treats for the rest of her days." 

Beth came to the MPD Mounted Patrol in 2005.
