Bicyclist in critical condition after getting hit by car near 26th and Greenfield

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Police say a bicyclist was struck by a car Thursday evening.

It happened in the intersection of 26th and W. Greenfield Avenue around 7:25 p.m.

Authorities say the bicyclist was unresponsive, but breathing, and is listed in critical condition at a local hospital. 

The driver of the car, a 53-year-old woman, stayed on the scene and is cooperating with the police.

No further information is available at this time.
