MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee is consistently ranked among the worst places in the country to live for African Americans.
It's also one of the most segregated cities. Many of the predominantly Black neighborhoods struggle with crime and poverty.
One local organization is trying to change the narrative.
Walter Lanier was recently named president and CEO of the African American Leadership Alliance of Milwaukee. He joined CBS 58 Thursday, Feb. 17 to talk about the important work his organization is doing.
