Big races in Wisconsin’s spring election Tuesday
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- It took a little while longer to find one, but Milwaukee now has its Christmas tree for the holiday season.
The Yaeger family in the Washington Heights Neighborhood donated the 64-foot Colorado Blue Spruce. City crews harvested the tree early Tuesday, Nov. 12. It was then put on a flatbed truck and given a police escort to the Deer District outside of Fiserv Forum.
This is where it'll eventually be trimmed and then officially lit for the holidays on Thursday, Dec. 5.
