Milwaukee Man Surprises Police Officers with Pizzas

A Milwaukee man surprised police officers with pizzas on Tuesday.

We were at District Four headquarters near 69th and Silver Spring when a fresh hot delivery of pizza arrived just in time for lunch.

This is the good work of the man known as the Milwaukee Peace Poet and he had a message that he hopes many will share:

“We can all get involved to show these officers we care. Because officers walking the beat can't be everywhere. Some say officers are bad, but we have the finest we've ever had,” said Larry Johnson, Milwaukee Peace Poet.

“It's a difficult job but we volunteer for it. People like you you make this job a lot simpler,” said Officer Truman Dodd, MPD.
