Milwaukee man sentenced to 20 years for killing 9-month-old baby in his care

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A Milwaukee man who killed a baby has learned his fate. 

Anthoni Cirra pleaded guilty in his case, confessing to killing a 9-month-old baby in July of 2022. 

Officials say Cirra was watching the baby for the child's parents while the couple was at work. 

Later, the mom noticed issues and took the baby to the hospital. 

They found bruises and the 9-month-old's breathing became worse. The child later died. 

Cirra will now spend the next 20 years behind bars with the possibility of 15 years probation.
