A Milwaukee father was killed when a truck collided head on with his motorcycle. He was being followed by his wife and kids in another vehicle.
The incident happened around 10:15 PM on August 14 near Bonduel in Shawano County.
Police believe a 42 year-old De Pere man crossed the center-line on Highway 47 and collided with Roger Patoka and then his wife's vehicle.
Patoka was pronounced dead at the scene.
His wife, Paula, and two children were all hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries.
Shawano County Sheriff's Captain Tom Tuma spoke to CBS 58 and said he would be careful jumping to the conclusion the truck driver was intoxicated.
A memorial service will take place for Patoka at St. Agnes Catholic Church in Butler on August 22.
Java Train in Butler is collecting money for the family.
The Wisconsin State Patrol is helping Shawano County investigate.
