Milwaukee Man Injured by Speeding SUV

A 59-year-old Milwaukee man  is being treated in a local hospital for serious  injuries he suffered after being struck by a speeding vehicle at N 29th and W Clybourn Streets Thursday.   According to the Milwaukee Police Department, around 4:30 PM the man was struck as he was getting into his parked vehicle on N 29th Street.  The Police say a 1995 GMC Jimmy was speeding  down the street  when the driver lost control of the  vehicle, colliding with three parked cars and the victim.  The two male occupants of the speeding SUV fled from the accident scene on foot.    The MPD is continuing to investigate the accident.
