Milwaukee Man Fatally Struck by Allegedly Stolen Vehicle

A 66-year-old Milwaukee man was killed in a car accident involving two teenagers that were believed to be in a stolen vehicle on North 10th Street and West Abert Place.

According to a release by Milwaukee Police, the accident happened around 1:55 PM on Saturday.

The Milwaukee man was a passenger in a  2005 Chrysler Mini Van that was southbound on N. 10th street.

At W. Abert Pl. it was struck by a 2005 Jeep Cherokee that failed to stop for a stop sign. The victim was ejected from the van and suffered serious injuries, he was transported to a local hospital where he died.


The Jeep Cherokee had been reported stolen and was occupied by at least two individuals who fled the scene after the accident.

Responding officers located a 17 year old male and 16 year old female nearby, they are believed to have been in the auto at the time of the crash.
