MPD is investigating a shooting that happened around 8:30 PM on Tuesday, June 13 in the 2700 block of W. Auer Avenue. A 27-year-old man was inside his vehicle when an unknown suspect fired into the car.
The victim was hit and early investigation reveals it may have been robbery-related.
The victim left the scene and drove nearly three miles to the 5300 block of N. Teutonia Avenue where he was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries.
MPD is searching for the suspect.
