Milwaukee man accused of killing 3 people in separate incidents
Milwaukee Police Department MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A 26-year-old Milwaukee man is accused of killing three people in Milwaukee on the same night.
Michael Williams has been charged with three counts of first-degree intentional homicide.
The first shooting happened near 27th and Atkinson at approximately 9:20 p.m. A criminal complaint says police were called to the scene for a report of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers located Marcus Smith and Sandra Lee both shot. Smith and Lee did not survive.
The criminal complaint says investigators obtained surveillance footage from both shootings.
The second shooting happened near 31st and Courtland shortly before 10:30 p.m. Officers were called to the area for a report of a person in a car who was unresponsive. Authorities say Lakendrick Roby was found shot multiple times inside the vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to the criminal complaint, officials interviewed a witness who identified the shooter as Williams, who is his uncle. He stated, the complaint says, Williams has been having mental health and drug abuse issues. The witness reportedly told officials Williams had been threatening him, along with other family members.
He's due in court for an initial appearance Oct. 24.
