Milwaukee Fire Results in $120,000 in Damage

The Milwaukee Fire Department responded to a house fire in the 3200 block of North 16th Street around 8:30 PM Saturday night. According to fire officials, a resident of the home heard a loud pop and then smelled smoke.  

By the time firefighters arrived, an adult and three children had evacuated the home without injury. The cause of the fire is undetermined. 

Damage to the home and contents is estimated at $120,000. The family is being assisted by the Red Cross.
