Belle is a 38-year-old African elephant. Recently, her companions passed away at the Riverbanks Zoo in South Carolina. To make sure Belle has company, she's made the move to Milwaukee.
Before her transport, Belle practiced with trainers to get comfortable getting inside a transport container.
The Zoo says when she arrived, Belle was eating, drinking and interacting with enrichment.
Belle joins Ruth and Brittany, two other elephants at the Milwaukee County Zoo's new exhibit.
