MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The holiday season is all about the spirit of giving, and over at the Milwaukee County Zoo, they're doing just that.
Starting Thursday, Dec. 26, the zoo is opening up their doors for free, for all daytime visitors. It's all part of what they're calling "Frosty Free Week."
Zoo staff tell us it's their way of giving back to the community and say they're looking forward to welcoming people in during the holiday weekend.
"It's a beautiful day after Christmas, and we're looking forward to having as many people that want to join us today as possible, all the way through the 30th," said Andrew Stockel, Milwaukee County Zoo. "So we're hoping to see thousands of our community members each day."
The zoo is open from 9:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. on weekdays and 9:30-4:30 on weekends.
