Milwaukee County to host job fair for veterans Thursday

Milwaukee County will hold the 13th Job Fair for Veterans on March 5 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Milwaukee County War Memorial Center.  

Around 80 employers are expected to attend, including Harley-Davidson, Bradley Corporation, Wal-Mart Distribution, Time Warner Cable, Schneider National, and the Social Security Administration.

All veteran attendees will be given a free flash drive, courtesy of the Milwaukee County Veterans Service Office, loaded with forms and files that will help in completing on-line job applications.  

Free parking, courtesy of Milwaukee County Parks, will be available in the O'Donnell Parking Structure. 

The event is a joint collaboration of Milwaukee County, Zablocki VA Medical Center, and local representatives of Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development, Office of Veterans Services.
