MILWAUKEE COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A Safe Streets Workshop that was held on Wednesday, Sept. 25 gave people a chance to talk to Milwaukee County officials about what changes they would like to see.
"We need residents' input on our proposals. Which ones will work on your streets, in your neighborhoods?" said Jeff Sponcia, transportation program planning manager.
The county is pinpointing areas of concern, and showed visitors different plans to help make streets safer. Officials say the top concern they hear in workshops is speeding.
There are three more workshops in October.
