Milwaukee Celebrates Milwaukee Day

April 14 corresponds with Milwaukee's area code, and for the past five years the city has held a party on this date to celebrate community pride.  

The sixth annual Milwaukee Day event will be held at turn hall ballroom on 4th Street in downtown Milwaukee. 

It has food, drink and entertainment from 5 local headliners and a youth arts ensemble.  Doors opened at 5:30. 

All the proceeds from the show go to Escuela Verde, which is a charter school in the Silver City Neighborhood.

Tickets for the show are 10 dollars.
