Milwaukee Brewers wives team up with Salvation Army to help kids in need

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The wives of Brewers players are teaming up with the Salvation Army to give out lunches to kids in need.
The lunches will be passed out on August 9 at the following times at locations:
12:15 p.m. – 12:35 p.m.: Parkside Elementary, 2552 S. 19th St.
12:40 p.m. – 1:00 p.m.: St. Adalbert's Church, 1923 W. Becher St.
1:05 p.m. – 1:25 p.m.: Reiske Park, 24th and Lapham
The Brewers Ice Cream truck will also be on hand as well.
The event is part of the Feed The Kids summer meals program.
So far, the Salvation Army has served 37,941 meals to kids this summer. The program will continue until August 24, 2018.
