MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The 17th Annual Great Midwest Book Fest will take place Saturday, June 21 at Xchange Event & Creative Space in Milwaukee. The three-hour event will feature 10 to 12 African American authors showcasing and selling their work.
Organizers confirmed Wednesday, June 4 that the event will run from 1 to 4 p.m. at 3334 N. Holton St. Admission is $10 for adults and free for children. Each author will offer a brief introduction followed by an audience Q&A.
This year’s headliner is bestselling author Tracy Clark. Other participating authors include Tracy Gray, Tony Lindsay, Kay Shanee, Vivian L. King and others.
Attendees can receive up to three free books through a SWAG bag offer, while supplies last.
