Milwaukee Art Museum Displays Haunting German Cinema

The Milwaukee Art Museum’s “Haunted Screens” exhibit is displaying more than 150 objects just in time for Halloween. The display’s debut begins October 21st.

“Haunted Screens” explores the tension and anxiety in German cinema during the 1920's, reflecting the mood of country at that time.

This type of cinema inspired directors like Alfred Hitchcock and Tim Burton. Photographs, posters and film clips from over 20 movies will be on display.

The exhibit will be available through the middle of January.
