MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee police are asking you to turn a 16-year-old boy in because they say he murdered two teenagers last year. There is now a $25,000 reward for whoever submits an anonymous tip through Milwaukee Crime Stoppers about where Christopher R. Scott is hiding so police can close the case.

According to the criminal complaint, on May 18, 2024, Milwaukee police say Scott was 15 years old when he and his friends met up with two other 15-year-old boys near 14th and Halsey to buy marijuana.

Officials say Scott had a gun and was supposed to rob the two 15-year-olds selling the weed -- Alejandro Sanchez and Monroe Weso. Family members say Sanchez and Weso were best friends.

During the robbery, Sanchez and Scott started fighting over the gun, Weso jumped in to help and Scott shot both of them.

Police arrested Scott's two teenage friends, but 16-year-old Scott -- who police say actually fired the shots that killed Sanchez and Weso -- is still on the run.

Attorney and Milwaukee Crime Stoppers President Michael Hupy donated $25,000 to reward anyone who comes forward through the tip line or that app to turn Scott in.

All you have to do is call 414-224-TIPS(8477). You can also download the P3 Tips App and submit a tip by sending a message. Submitting a tip through Milwaukee Crime Stoppers is the only way you can get the $25,000 reward and it is always anonymous. No one asks for your information and your phone cannot be tracked at all because the connection gets scrambled.
