MFD: 1 injured after fire breaks out at assisted living facility

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee Fire Department (MFD) told CBS 58 that they transported one person to a local hospital after a fire broke out an assisted living facility near 46th and Hampton Friday, Dec. 12 around 5:15 p.m.
MFD says they had to break down a door to rescue a person.
It is unknown at this time the extent of the damage.
The cause of the fire is under investigation and CBS 58 reached out for more details.
