MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- If this was a normal year, you'd see a lot of people headed for the airport to do some Labor Day traveling.
This of course is not a typical year, and you can tell by checking out the terminal at Milwaukee's airport.
It was fairly quiet when we stopped at Mitchell International Friday afternoon, and even though travel restrictions are not as tough now as they were earlier in the year, airport officials are not expected to be very busy.
"We've seen like a slight bump in travel, similar to what we've seen during the 4th of July weekend that we just had," said Marketing & Public Relations Coordinator Stephanie Staudinger. "But it'll still be down from what it was last year compared to this time."
A reminder if you are traveling -- masks are required at the airport.
They do have masks to give away. They also have social distancing markers and signs, and they're encouraging travelers to check in for their flights by phone to avoid congregating in the airport.
