MillerCoors donating 50,000 cans of drinking water to Texas

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- MillerCoors has been in regular contact with the Red Cross and has sent 50,000 cans of drinking water to Granbury, Texas. From there, the water will be shipped by their craft partner, Revolver, in MillerCoors trucks to wherever the Red Cross directs.

MillerCoors just launched a water program this summer and donated the first cans of water in July to LaCrosse, and northern Illinois to provide fresh water to flood victims.

MillerCoors also has a long history of providing financial support to Red Cross dating back prior to the launch of MillerCoors in 2008. MillerCoors is supplementing the water donation with a $25,000 contribution to Red Cross.
